Drive EV Installations is growing fast across Milton Keynes, Bedford, and Northampton, helping homeowners make the switch to electric vehicle charging. As demand for EV chargers grows, we’re building a team to deliver a great experience for every customer, every time.

Current opportunities
EV Charger Installation Engineer (PAYE, full-time)
Location: Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton and surrounding areas
We’re looking for a qualified, reliable electrical installer to join our team as a permanent, PAYE member of staff, carrying out domestic EV charge point installations for our customers.
What we’re looking for:
- Required qualifications — NICEIC/NAPIT registration, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds 2919 EV charging qualification
- Experience level — minimum 3 years in domestic electrical work
- Full UK driving licence
- A professional, customer-facing manner — you’ll often be the main point of contact the customer has with us

EV Installation Apprentice
Location: Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton and surrounding areas
Looking to start a career in the electrical and EV charging industry? We’re looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to train alongside our installation team, working towards a recognised electrical qualification while gaining hands-on experience.
What we’re looking for:
- Maths, English and Science GCSE at minimum Level 4
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence
What you’ll get:
- An Apprentice wage with bonuses and quick progression
- Structured training towards Level 3 Electrical Installation
